2018 brings 51 years of success to one Vermillion County business. Professional Glass Company, Inc., was started in 1967 by union glazier Wayne Blackburn. Although it started with simple flat glass repair and installation, Professional Glass Co., Inc. currently offers auto glass, residential and commercial glass repair and installation along with custom picture framing. The Vermillion County Chamber of Commerce would like to congratulate current owners Robert and Tina Blackburn on their success here in the Vermillion County community. Throughout its 51 years of business, Professional Glass Company Inc. has remained a Blackburn Family business. Current owner Rob is the third generation to join the business. In 2017, Professional Glass Co., Inc. received the State of Indiana Half Century award. This award, presented by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation, the State of Indiana, and Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, is only presented to those Indiana businesses that have been in continuous business for at least 50 years, who show support to their communities, and are still engaged in their original business service. This is an outstanding accomplishment achieved by a business here in Vermillion County.
